In order to return products to The CopperSmith a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number must be obtained.
Please fill out the following form to request a warranty service or return.
Please do not ship or return any products until you are notified by The CopperSmith to do so.
The CopperSmith is not responsible for any merchandise returned without a RGA number.
Below are the warranty and return policies. Please read below to ensure eligibility before submitting a request.
Manufacturer Limited Warranty Policy
All fixtures and products manufactured by The CopperSmith come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Damages incurred in transit, from handling, from improper installation, misuse, normal wear and tear, or lack of maintenance is excluded or implied warranties, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness of a particular purpose. The sole and exclusive remedy for the breach of the warranty shall be the replacement of the product or a credit at the discretion of the The CopperSmith.
Under no circumstances shall The CopperSmith be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages or loss, including damaged packaging.
The Coppersmith is not responsible for installation or removal of The CopperSmith products.
End-User must send original product back to the original distributor where The CopperSmith products were purchased
Cage & Valve Warranty
All lantern cages and valves come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
Warranty is subject to nullification due to improper installation or external damage, such as, objects hitting lantern,
extreme weather, handling of lantern during installation etc.
This guarantee only covers repair or replacement at our facility of the defective part(s) and excludes any responsibility for labor or shipping costs.

Light Clusters, LED Flame Module (Weiyan) and Sockets
Light clusters and sockets are warrantied for five (5) years.
120 Volt LED Weiyan Light Module will be warrantied for (1) years.
12 Volt LED Weiyan Light Module will be warrantied for (1) year.
Battery powered LED Weiyan Module will be warrantied (90) days.
LED Gold Flame Bulbs will be warrantied for (1) year.
Glass Warranty Glass
Panels are warrantied for one (1) year from the time of purchase.
The CopperSmith only allows one glass breakage claim per lantern after purchase.
GTPL (Path Light) and GBOT12V & GBOTBM (Torch) Glass is warrantied for shipment damage from The Coppersmith to Vendor only.
Steel Mountings and Accessories
All Steel Mountings and Accessories are warrantied for one (1) year against rust and five (5) years against structural defects in a Non-Coastal Environment. (Coastal Environment includes any area within five (15) miles of a body of salt water.)
Aluminum Accessory and Mounting Plate
Aluminum mounting and accessories are warrantied for five (5) years against rust and ten (10) years against structural defects in all environments.
Electronic ignition systems are warrantied for (1) year from manufacturer’s invoice date.
Warranty is subject to nullification due to improper installation.
Improper installation includes not installing supplied regulator and fittings for each Lantern.
Custom Finish Warranty
All Custom Finishes carry a (1) year warranty from manufacturer's invoice date.
Confirmation of Return
If approved, you will receive an email confirmation and RGA within twenty-four (24) hours of submitting a request.
Always refer to this number when calling or emailing The CopperSmith for information. Email is preferred.
